Kao Industrial (Thailand) Company Limited was officially established on September 24, 1964 as the producer of a range of shampoo and detergent products.
Later in 1972, the chemical plant was established to produce intermediate materials for local users and export.
In 2005, the existing plant is expanded and relocated to the Amata Nakorn Industrial Estate in Chonburi province.
